Louisburg Shrine Club
The Louisburg Shrine Club was organized in April, 1979, with representatives from Abdallah Shrine in
Charter members were: Dale Hansen, George Crotchett, Wayne Criss, Chuck Andrews, Leslie Meek, Larry Todd, Frank Moody, Ray Bendorf, Bill Peters, Yale Phillips, Bob Little, Delbert Shipp, John Mowen, Earl Hornbuckle, Sterling Hornbuckle, Jim Sites, George Brown, Clarence Dellinger, Merv Laman, Howard Jobes, Dusty Boldman, Hal Weber, Vic Freeburg, Lou Handley, and Kenny Kerr.
The first meeting was held at the Hickory House Bar-B-Que, 9th & Metcalf,

Past presidents of the club are: Dale Hansen, 1979; George Crotchett, 1980; Clarence Hess, 1981; Yale Phillips, 1982; Wayne Criss, 1983; Norman Ambrose, 1984; Bill Peters, 1985; and Keith Virgin, 1986.
In 1983, the ladies organized an auxiliary known as Ladies of Louisburg Shrine Club. They help in many of the men’s projects, have some fund-raising projects of their own, and enjoy the social get-togethers.
